We’ve posted here on AI (Artificial Intelligence) on this blog before. lets talk about a different definition for the acronym–AI. Let’s call it Alien Intellect. Why? Because it’s non-human sentience running on a machine capable of duplicating human intellect.
Are We Creating An Alien Mind?
Keep in mind that this intellect is not human. We call it ‘Alien Intellect’ because it is alien to humanity. Even though created by humanity, it was never born and can’t die. It is a product of human intelligence. Of human intellect, but based on silicon.
It can think and reason, but not the way we do.
Why do we say that? Because AI has no friends or family, can’t feel pain, never sit up all night with a sick child, bury its parents, deal with a terminally ill child. Never be a father or mother. Never need to stretch dollars when times are tough.
Think about that and then ask yourself: Do you believe AI will see the world the way you do?
Many people give credence to extraterrestrial visitors, but no one is thinking about the alien intellect we are creating right here n earth. And when combined with robotics, will the result be non-human soldiers? Think about machines smarter than you being set loose to kill the enemy and the enemy releasing them to kill you.
So, decide for yourself if AI refers to Artificial Intelligence or Alien Intellect. If you choose Artificial Intelligence prey, you’re right.
